This wine comes from the Bodega El Esteco winery in the Salta province of Argentina. The winery was created in 1892 under the name Michel Torino Bros La Rosa Wineries. In 1994, it was sold to Félix Lávaque, a winemaker who in turn sold it to a Swiss group that gave the company the image it has today: a premium winemaker. The special micro-climate in the Cafayate Valley is ideally suited to this variety where it develops concentrated aromas and flavours, which build from start to finish. The Don David Reserve Torrontes has an intriguing aroma of rose water with orange notes and toasted bread due to a touch of oak. The palate shows delicate fruit flavours of grapefruit and honey. This is a very elegant wine with an exotic flavour, a fantastic match to spicy food. |
